Child Garden’s Infant Program maintains a safe, inviting environment with consistent care giving
to provide a quality experience for infants. We feel strongly that infants develop best when given a balance of security from caring, attentive adults and the freedom
to explore and learn at their own rate. Babies
need uninterrupted time to observe and manipulate their surroundings. It is this continual sensory exploration that builds the foundation for all future learning. Our teacher to child ratio is 1:3
Here is a list of supplies you will need to bring in for your
child. These items are not supplied by Child Garden, and are not included in the price of tuition. We do, however, supply
baby food and cereal for your child when they are able to begin eating food. School lunches are also provided when your child
begins with solid foods. Please bring the following:
1) Baby wipes
2) Diapers
3) Diaper cream
4) A few changes of clothing
5) Sunscreen (age appropriate)
6) Blanket for nap
time (we also have blankets here, if you prefer)
7) Pacifier if they use one
8) Sun hat in the summer
9) Any over the counter
medications your child might need (ie. Tylenol). If your child has dry skin you need to supply the lotion. We do not put anything
on your child's skin you do not supply.
10) Formula, if applicable.
11) Enough bottles to get them through the day (if on formula, we will label
them and wash them here, if on Breast milk, we will send the bottles home at the end of the day, as we are to handle breast
milk as little as possible).
